Pallet dimensions

The 3 most common types of pallets in Europe:

Euro pallet (EPAL) — 1200x800x145 mm
Finnish pallet (FINPAL) — 1200x1000x145 mm
Industrial pallet — 1200x1200x145 mm

The load capacity of these three most commonly used pallets can be up to 1500 kg, but the maximum pallet weight depends on the type of the service used. If the weight of the cargo exceeds 1500 kg, the placement of other cargo on the pallets is taken into account, or the price is calculated based on the volume.

Pallet sizes can vary greatly — for example, a standard pallet size in China is 1100x1100 mm, but in Australia it is 1165x1165 mm.

Loading metres (LDM):

Pallet dimensions and knowing them are of great importance to calculate how much space the load will take up in the truck trailer. The standard truck trailer capacity is 13.6 LDM.

European pallet (EPAL) — 0.4 LDM
Finnish pallet (FINPAL) — 0.5 LDM
Industrial pallet — 0.6 LDM

In cases where non-standard cargo delivery is required, a non-standard pallet is used. To calculate LDM for non-standard pallets, use the following formula:
